WSS thermometer is a field detection instrument suitable for measuring medium and low temperatures, which can directly measure the temperature of liquid vapor and gas media within the range of -80 ℃ -+500 ℃ in various production processes. This thermometer has the characteristics of waterproof, corrosion-resistant, vibration resistant, intuitive, easy to read, mercury free, sturdy and durable in terms of design principles and structure. The bimetallic thermometer can automatically send control signals to cut off power or alarm when the working temperature exceeds the given value. It can replace other temperature measuring instruments and is widely used in industries and scientific research departments such as petroleum, chemical, machinery, shipbuilding, power generation, textile, printing and dyeing.
WSS thermometer application and structure (characteristics of bimetallic thermometer):
Mercury free, easy to read, sturdy and shock resistant.
The protective pipe material is 1Gr18Ni9Ti stainless steel and molybdenum titanium, with strong pressure resistance and anti-corrosion ability.
The core pulling thermometer can be maintained or replaced for a short period of time without stopping the machine.
The range of axial, radial, 135 °, universal and other types is complete, and the bimetallic thermometer is suitable for various on-site installation needs. Characteristics and working principle of WSS series thermometer: The WSS series thermometer uses a threaded bimetallic strip as the temperature sensing element, which is installed in a protective sleeve. One end is fixed (fixed end), and the other end (free end) is connected to a thin shaft with a pointer at the shaft end. When the temperature changes, the free end of the temperature sensing element immediately rotates, causing the thin shaft to drive the pointer to produce angular displacement, indicating the temperature change on the dial; A straight type watch drives the pointer through a steering transmission mechanism. Due to the linear relationship between temperature sensing elements and temperature changes, the position indicated by the pointer of the bimetallic thermometer is the measured temperature value. The case materials include steel plate, cast alloy, and stainless steel plate; The detection element also has a core pulling structure; The head part of the adjustable angle thermometer can be transformed from an angle type to a straight type or from a straight type to an angle type at any angle with the help of bellows, angle mechanism and other components. The electric contact bimetallic thermometer adds components such as an electric contact group, adjustment device, and outlet box to its structure. When the temperature changes, at the moment of contact or disconnection with the pre-set temperature control fixed contacts (upper and lower limits), the relay or contactor in the control circuit is activated, and the bimetallic thermometer achieves automatic temperature control or alarm function.
The WSS thermometer works based on the principle that two different metals expand differently when the temperature changes. The main component of the WSS series thermometer for industrial use is a multi-layer metal sheet composed of two or more metal sheets stacked together. To improve temperature sensitivity, metal sheets are usually made into a spiral coil shape. When the temperature of multi-layer metal sheets changes, the expansion or contraction of each layer of metal is uneven, causing the spiral coil to roll up or loosen. Due to one end of the spiral coil being fixed and the other end being connected to a freely rotatable pointer, when the bimetallic strip senses a temperature change, the pointer can indicate the temperature on a circular scale. The temperature measurement range of this bimetallic thermometer is 200~650 ℃, and the allowable error is about 1% of the scale's two strokes. This thermometer has a similar purpose as a rod-shaped glass liquid thermometer, but can be used under conditions that require higher mechanical strength.
